HELLYEAH mussten ihren Auftritt bei Rock am Ring am heutigen Samstag kurzfristig absagen. Der Grund für die Absage ist ein familiärer Notfall von Sänger Chad Gray, der den Heimflug in die Staaten angetreten hat.

Der Auftritt bei Rock im Park hingegen soll wie geplant stattfinden, da Gray am Sonntag wieder zurückkommen will. Die Band äußerte sich in einem Statement wie folgt: "We will be hanging out [at the Rock Am Ring festival] on site [on Saturday] so make sure you come by and have a drink with us. Good news is Chad will be flying from the U.S. to make it back for our Sunday [June 6] show at the Rock Im Park festival."

Auch Chad Gray äußerte sich zu der kurzfristigen Absage: "I just want to thank all our fans and friends for your kind words during my family emergency. It really meant a lot to me to have your support. I'm bummed that I will miss another show at Rock Am Ring, but I can't wait to get back on the tour starting this Sunday and kick some major ass in Europe!!! And don't worry for those of you we couldn't play for... we will make it up you in the fall!!"
